    S. Bach says: "chinese democracy" is a mind blowing epic"

(the album is still *supposed* to be out before the end of the year)

Former Skid Row star Sebastian Bach has given long-suffering Guns N' Roses fans a reason to be cheerful this week, describing the band's new album as 'mind-blowing'.

The near-mythical set has been in the recording stage since Axl Rose confirmed its existence in 1997, but a number of deadlines have come and gone in the years since. However, Bach reveals this week that he attended a party at Rose's Malibu mansion, where the reclusive rocker treated guests to a full playback of "Chinese Democracy".

"It was mind-blowing. It's a very cool album - it's badass with killer screams, killer guitar riffs, the rocker revealed, "but it's got a totally modern sound. The word for it is 'grand'. It's f*cking epic. (Axl)'s reinvented himself yet again."

"There's this one song called Sorry, that's almost like doom metal with Axl singing really clean over this grinding, slow beat that is f*cking mean. I cannot get it out of my head."

The album is rumoured to be hitting record shops on November 21, although Marck Mercuriadis, the band's manager, refused to confirm the speculation to press.

"I don't know that we will announce a release date," adds Bach. "You might just walk into your record shop one Tuesday and find it there."
