It was impossible for me to go anywhere outside Dallas this week so no Tracy Conover for me but I did not miss the chance to go see Chris Duarte at the Granada Theatre here in Dallas. Duarte is a great friend and inspiration for Tracy so I thought you'd like to see some pictures of that show. If you don't know the guy, you need to find out who he is, he's just unfogettable. Go see him and you'll understand why Tracy and I and so many fans enjoy seeing him play.
The Dallas show was really good, the Granada is a rather big venue so it was not completely full for a Thursday night but they closed the upper deck so there was a pretty good concentration of people on the main floor. Chris played a very long set and ended the show with a superb encore.
Honorable mention to Wes Jeans' band, they did a really great job to open the show and unfortunately I do not remember the names of the 2 young talents who played a couple of tunes with him but these teens were really suprising for their age. Here are some more pictures:
