.:: Tracy Conover pictures: Galveston, Texas, 03.02.2007 ::.

This Friday Tracy Conover and her band played at the historic Balinese Room in Galveston, Texas. And the show was quite unusual because as soon as she started the show, her '63 Reissue Fender Pre CBS Bladeface super reverb amplifier almost caught on fire! The guitar sound was very weak so Tracy checked her amp and this thing was smoking! That's really unfortunate, not because of the show (she eventually got another amp and she kicked ass) but it's probably going to cost some big bucks to get this thing fixed.
So that was scary, especially for the 3-4 of us who drove all the way there from Dallas to see this show, for one second I thought I came all the way there to see a 15 second show, but after a short delay she then played a few songs with her guitar plugged into the monitors, then, thanks to some guy who I think was named James, a new Crate amp was brought on stage for Tracy! And she sounded pretty good with it. Once she got the second amp, things just went great until the end, as usual. I know I will sound redundant again but hell, what can I say, she was spectacular once more!

You can see the smoke coming out of Tracy's amplifier form the 1/4" connections
