.:: Tracy Conover pictures: Poodie's, June 8th, 2007 ::.

Yes, yes, finally some new pictures. I was so busy lately, I didn't get a chance to see Tracy as much as I would have liked to but this Friday I just had to drive to Poodie's to see her. And it was well worth it! Poodie's is always one of the coolest place on Earth to see Tracy, and I was surprised how much this place changed since last time I went there. Poodie just invested some $40,000 or so on a HUGE deck and its spectacular, too bad I didn't take a picture of that sunset... Stupid me.
Anyway, for this show they had an opening act, the band of Shawn Fussell, it was really good. Excellent original stuff and a few covers here and there, they rocked. Then Tracy Conover played 2 sets, it was wonderful to finally witness that again! I realized how much I've missed it after a few month away from the action. During the second part of the 2nd set, Shawn Fussell joined Tracy Conover and her band for a few songs (Big Boss Man, Red House, and Goin' Down), he did a terrific job, him and Tracy are two really gifted guitar players, They played some shit that would make a whole stadium crowd go crazy but only a few of us witnessed it, deep in the heart of Texas.
And remember people, if you go out of town (like I did), don't forget your wallet (like I did!). Special Thanks to "Spud" of the Tracy Conover experience for letting me borrow a few bucks to pay for food and for gas in order to be able to come back to Dallas after the show!
