Tracy Conover was back in Dallas this weekend to play at the Dallas International Guitar Show at Market Hall. She played a great but short accoustic set by herself from 6 to 7pm. Some of the songs she played: Angel, Rest my wings, Garden of color, Stone Angel, Baby What You Want Me To Do. That was great BUT Tracy had a surprise for us. In the middle of the set she played a new song that nobody ever heard before, I even asked her manager Chris "what was that?" and he said "I don't know!". Tracy said she's still working on it and she doesn't have a title for it yet but it was excellent, very promising! Then after the show there was a long wait which allowed us to go eat but finally Tracy went on the big stage during this "all star jam". She played on 2 long songs, she delivered some great solos and the crowd loved her. She was up there with amazing guys such as Alan Haynes and Van Wilks.
Oh! and I want to give an honorable mention to the drunk guy who came and tried to sit down in the middle of Tracy's accoustic show. He provided some unexpected entertainment. His task was fairly simple, just putting his butt on one of the chairs, well that didn't work so smoothly for him! He just failed and he made all the 10 chairs around him move or fall, if these were pins at bowling, we'd call it a strike! He also made huge noise by dropping his beer bottle on the floor and the funniest thing is that he had one of these folding chairs stuck on him, biting his ass, it was hilarious!
