Tracy was playing at the Freeport Summerside Blues Festival in Freeport, TX, right next to the Gulf of Mexico. This was an outdoor thing and the weather was great. Pretty hot and humid for the peformers but hey, it's Texas and it's August, what do you expect!?
Tracy played for around 90 minutes, a very cool set full of energy. As she usually does when there are a lot of bikers around, she played a lot of great blues and rock cover tunes. None of her usual rythm section guys were there, but the 2 guys that were there did a great job. On the bass it was Dino Delanne (not sure I'm spelling this right), a guy who played with legend Freddy King, and doing an excellent job on drums was Paul "Buddha" Mills. Now that I think about it, that's probably why Tracy played mostly covers, these guys probably don't know her songs.
The guys of Pride and Joy were playing before Tracy, it's not the first time I see them, they are always excellent too! Here are some photos of that concert:
